Without actually seeing your skin, I would think that what you are describing are closed

comedones – little skin coloured bumps ‘under’ your skin that become more prominent

when you stretch the skin or in certain lighting. Right? In the long run, being vigilant with

the use of a topical retinoid is the best way to manage these lesions. Sometimes I treat

bigger ones with very gentle electrocautery to get the follicle to close and flatten down

though this is not suitable for everyone. Another way to combat these is by going on an oral

treatment.
